The Day-Date 1803 represents one of Rolex’s most iconic offerings, combining precious metal construction with the model’s signature day and date display. Its blend of craftsmanship, heritage, and distinctive presence makes it a standout reference within the Day-Date lineage.
Key Details To Consider
Rolex Day-Date 1803 in 18K yellow gold, fully original and presented in very good overall condition. The case retains thick, sharply defined lugs and was polished in the past by the previous owner. The fluted bezel remains crisp and in excellent condition.
The period-correct silver dial has aged attractively, developing a warm patina, with all tritium plots present and intact. The movement was last serviced in January 2025 and runs properly, and the watch passed a 3ATM (30m) pressure test in November 2025.
It is fitted with a 20/16mm brown alligator strap paired with a gold-plated Rolex pin buckle. All case numbers are fully visible and intact, with a 4.1 million serial placing production around 1974.
