DESCRIPTION

Rolex GMT-Master 1675: The Iconic Dual Time Zone Pilot's Watch

Rolex, established in 1905, is a prestigious Swiss watchmaker renowned for its precise and durable timepieces. The brand has a rich history of innovation, introducing the first waterproof wristwatch, the Oyster, in 1926, and the first self-winding mechanism, the Perpetual rotor, in 1931. Rolex's commitment to quality and performance has made it a symbol of luxury and reliability in the world of horology.

The Rolex GMT-Master 1675, introduced in the late 1950s, is an iconic model designed for international pilots. It features a dual time zone function, facilitated by its distinctive 24-hour bezel and additional GMT hand. The 1675 is celebrated for its robustness, versatility, and classic design elements, such as the Jubilee bracelet and the Pepsi bezel, making it a highly sought-after piece among collectors and enthusiasts.

Key Details To Consider

The Rolex GMT-Master 1675 in full steel with a Jubilee bracelet is presented in nice unpolished condition, showcasing its authentic charm. The case displays signs of wear and use, yet remains unpolished, preserving its original state—a feature often preferred by vintage watch collectors.

The black early service tritium dial from the early 1970s is in very clean condition, with matching hands. Unlike later versions with Luminova markers, this service dial retains the classic “SWISS - T < 25” marking. The original insert has beautifully faded to a baby blue/turquoise color, enhancing the watch’s overall aesthetic. The Jubilee bracelet is in very good condition, showing minimal stretch despite its age and fitting an 8+ inch wrist. The movement was professionally serviced on July 30, 2024, and runs properly.
